Global Ethic

“No peace among the nations without peace among the religions.
No peace among the religions without dialogue between the religions.
No coexistence on our globe without a global ethic.”

Those are the theses introducing Professor Hans Küng’s endeavours to spread the word about a Global Ethic. This should not be interpreted as the creation of a new religion. The purpose of a Global Ethic is to identify thoughts shared by all world religions,
always pursuing the goal of furthering the dialogue between the religions. Without this dialogue, a peaceful coexistence is simply not possible.

Again, the main common feature is the “Golden Rule” that can be found as an original quote from the different world religions on the back of the “Global Ethic Bear”.
